Die Cast Model Cars
Die Cast Model Cars From The Movies
Die cast model cars make great memorabillia for Hollywood legends past. If you can’t afford to buy James Bond’s Aston Martin, why not collect the die cast model cars? Here are some great die cast model cars for film lovers.
The Batmobile
This is a no-brainer. Obviously you want to get a die cast of the one from the first Batman movie by Tim Burton in 1989. The sequels made it look sillier and sillier until it was a laser light show on wheels.
White 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T
The one from Vanishing Point, that classic, pseudo-existential chase flick. Vanishing Point made a big splash on the car scene simply because it was one of the few movies to ever feature a Dodge muscle car in the leading role.
Last of the V8’s
The Ford Falcon XB GT Pursuit Special V8 from Mad Max and The Road Warrior. A great car from the greatest smashemup road flick of all time. Interestingly, the car in the movie is completely fictional. It wasn’t really V8 and the turbine wasn’t functional!
The real deal is expensive, but die cast model cars are great for someone with equal passion for both cars and film. They’re affordable, built to look just like the real thing, and they’re an awesome centerpiece to put on the coffee table or your desk.
So just go ahead and google Diecast and one of your favorite car flicks, and you’re sure to come up with some really cool stuff to start collecting.
